“Listen, in dreams and especially in nightmares, from indigestion or anything, a man sees sometimes such artistic visions, such complex and real actuality, such events, even a whole world of events, woven into such a plot, with such unexpected details from the most exalted matters to the last button on a cuff, as I swear Leo Tolstoy has never invented. Yet such dreams are sometimes seen not by writers, but by the most ordinary people, officials, journalists, priests…”
I was the one who started saying this during shanghai trip last year, but not anymore (okay fine, maybe once or twice) when the new school year started. but everybody else is starting to use it, so I’m feeling a teeny weeny bit guilty o.o hope its purpose is to spur the people to move on with life like how [BEWARE] HL sings sad songs to motivate herself. which imo she is secretly very 奸诈 cause she pulls others down with her depressing songs while she continues fighting even harder in life.
today’s training marked my first time ever interacting with the cheerleading team whom I was only able to watch from the training hall above them for months.
it was so funny.
WQ suggested a punishment game in order to make training a lot more exciting than usual. he’s really lame for a primary school teacher. the punishment he came up for the loser was to ask the phone number from one of the cheerleading members. since everytime during training we get (the guys esp) excited about them. and I was super happy, cause I actually thought I won’t lose -.- cheh. it was only until halfway through the game then I realised I confirm lose alr. so I chose the guy I wanted to ask number from beforehand. hahah! super funny.
in the end i really lost ._. but i lost with val. heh! but nvm, the cheerleaders are very friendly. and supportive O_O so the whole asking-for-number experience wasn’t embarrassing at all. I even remembered the guy’s number! 987654321 <- contact if you wan ;) but poor him, he looked really stunned. luckily his friend helped him AND me shout out ‘his number’. so everybody just laughed anyway.
Hence I make a solemn conclusion, I’m destined to do embarrassing stuffs. It’s in my blood.
Finally, my last interschool competing as a NY girl has ended.
3 years ago, I started by contributing to the B’div 2nd overall, this year, I ended by contributing to the B’div 2nd overall too.
having to end the same way as I first started out is quite a cool way to wrap up my whole secondary school competitive period i guess. It was generally a happy end! We get to bring back some good results this year, many of my friends are proud of their achievements too (:
“We live in a crazy world, and if you want to get through it with your body and soul even a little bit intact, you might as well be crazy yourself. It couldn’t hurt. And it just might help.”—Kinky Friedman, Kill Two Birds and Get Stoned (via thequintessential, quotewhore)
“I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.”—Audrey Hepburn (via fuckyeahhappy)
i feel very happy right now. no specific reasons why.
caffeine from red bull? cause i’ve finished all my events? doubt so.
time to reflect on this year’s interschool.
i think i did relatively lousier, although ironically i felt there’s at least a very slight improvement. so actly, there’s nothing really great to celebrate about.
i think comps period is still the most fun period, esp interschool. love to see people that I had been wanting to meet up with so badly, but hardly had the chance to. really nice to have everyone back at the same compound, skipping school laughing talking shaking hands saying hello CHEERING
the only thing i don’t understand is, why do we have to put on make up this year? must be the primary schools’ fault. i dropped alot more hair thanks to the hairsprays and glitters too :l the food sold isn’t as great as before either (no more ice cream nor ice kachang) esp. when the weather is so hot.
still, many thanks for all the support and help given! YES YOU!! looking forward to going back to cchs again next week. to take KPC photoS, to see milopig (hehe :D) and the many others.
p.s. to drink Teh 冰 again too.
p.p.s. for those who have yet to compete, I shall cheer you guys on physically mentally and spiritually. MARK MY WORDS! (:
Yesterday was Thank God It’s Thursday,
Today is Good Friday.
I ate too much within this two days. Yesterday night attended some appreciation dinner for the YOG performance last year. Wow, the dinner was so good, it was really worth the performance that only last a few trainings to rehearse, and a few min of performance :d super satisfying!
Then went for Huipin’s surprise birthday party right after brunch. Had ANOTHER satisfying feast. Then at night went a while to celebrate JB’s birthday.
I ate so much these two days, I felt like I had been eating continuously since the night before -.-
esp when comps just 3days later. Ah! Save me.
